We offer many different types of door accessory: shower headers, stainless steel U channel, aluminium U channel, flexible angle, fixed angle and a good deal more. Contact us if you need professional support anywhere in this catalogue.

What this range actually solves

These are the parts that never make it onto a drawing and always turn up on site. A glass panel that needs a channel along its base rather than clamps. A wall that is four degrees out of square and needs a flexible angle instead of a fixed one. A shower enclosure that needs a header to close the top.

None of them are interesting, and any one of them can stop a job for a week if it has to be ordered in.

U channel

U channel holds the edge of a glass panel continuously along a floor, wall or head, rather than at points the way a clamp does. It gives a cleaner line, hides the glass edge, and spreads the load along the whole run.

We stock it in stainless steel and in aluminium. Use stainless where the position is wet or exposed, or where the rest of the hardware on the job is stainless. Aluminium suits dry internal positions where weight and cost matter more.

Flexible and fixed angles

A fixed angle is a rigid 90-degree section, and it works when the wall really is at 90 degrees to the floor.

A flexible angle adjusts to whatever angle you actually have. On a renovation in an older Malaysian building, that is not the exception; it is the normal case, and it is the difference between a neat installation and a visible gap.

Getting the right section

Send us a photo of the position with the glass thickness. We will tell you which section fits, which saves working it out from a catalogue drawing.

Why Buy Other Accessories From GW GeWalt?

The Parts Nobody Specifies

Channels, angles and headers rarely appear on a drawing and always appear on site. We hold them so the job is not stopped by a trim.

Stainless or Aluminium

U channel in both, so the section matches whatever the rest of the installation is made from.

Flexible and Fixed Angles

A flexible angle handles a wall that is out of square, which in a Malaysian renovation is most walls.

Professional Support

Tell us what the section has to do and we will tell you which one does it, rather than leaving you to match by eye from a PDF.

Other Accessories FAQs

What is in the other accessories range?

Shower headers, stainless steel U channel, aluminium U channel, flexible angle, fixed angle and more. The full range with references is in the catalogue PDF on this page.

What is U channel used for?

It holds the edge of a glass panel along a floor, wall or head, giving a clean line and taking the panel edge out of view. It is the alternative to individual clamps where you want a continuous fixing rather than points.

What is the difference between a flexible angle and a fixed angle?

A fixed angle is a rigid 90-degree section. A flexible angle adjusts, which is what you need when the wall is not actually square to the floor. On a renovation that is the usual case rather than the exception.

Stainless or aluminium U channel?

Stainless where the position is wet or exposed, or where the rest of the hardware is stainless. Aluminium where weight or cost matters more and the position is dry. Both are in the catalogue.

Can you help me identify what I need?

Yes. Contact us with a photo of the position and the glass thickness, and we will tell you which section suits. That is quicker than working it out from the catalogue.
