The Fix Behind the Slamming Glass Door
When a heavy glass door slams shut or loses closing speed, the hydraulic floor spring has usually developed an oil leak. We repair and replace floor springs and realign hinges to restore controlled, safe closing. This is the common failure behind slamming shopfront and office glass doors across the Klang Valley.
A floor spring is a hydraulic door closer set into the floor beneath the pivot hinge. Its oil chambers control how fast the leaf swings closed and how gently it latches. Once the seal fails and oil escapes, the damping disappears and the spring slams the door at full force.

More Than a Part Swap
Replacing the unit is only half the job. The new spring must be rated to the door’s weight and width, the pivot and patch fittings realigned, and the closing and latching speeds tuned so the door closes with control rather than a bang. Skipping the alignment is why cheap replacements leak again within a year or two.
Because we fabricate tempered glass doors and stock the hardware ourselves, most repairs use parts from our own catalogue, which means shorter waits and fittings that actually match your door.
