What Is an Automatic Swing Door Operator?
An automatic swing door uses a motorised operator mounted above the frame to open and close a hinged leaf. Our systems use self-adapting technology control: the operator continuously reads the door’s weight and any wind load, then delivers exactly the power needed to keep a constant, predictable speed.
That constant-speed operation matters for safety. Visitors, patients and staff get the same gentle motion whether the door is a light aluminium leaf or a heavy tempered glass panel, and the backcheck adjustment cushions the leaf if someone pushes it open hard.
Where Swing Doors Fit Best
Swing operators suit offices, clinics, retail entrances and accessibility upgrades where a swing action fits the architecture better than a slide. They need no side wall space for a parking panel, which makes them the practical pick for corridors and compact frontages.
Activation is flexible: microwave motion sensors for hands-free entry, push-button or wave switches for controlled access, and hold-open mode for deliveries. All of it is installed and maintained by the same GW GeWalt team behind our hospital and government sliding door projects, with after-sales support across the Klang Valley.
