### Electromagnetic sliding glass door

Adjusting the sash position changes the transparency from semi-translucent to fully opaque, creating a range of different ambiences. ## What are the benefits of a sliding door system

Adding sliding doors is a sensible move, and not only for how they look.

**1\. Indoor and outdoor flow.** Sliding doors create a seamless transition from outside to inside. The large glass panes mean you get the view of the yard and the surroundings all year round.

**2\. Safety.** Homeowners used to avoid sliding doors, and the reason was fair: the old ones had no safety glass. Current sliding doors use shatterproof safety glass, which makes them safe in a home or an office.

**3\. Security.** Worth thinking about before you buy. Look for aluminium seals, incorporated gaskets and fixed leaves, and check the lock has a hook-over mechanism, which is what stops the sliding leaf being lifted out of the frame.

**4\. Saved space.** A sliding door has no hinge and no arc. It glides along a track and opens by sliding over another panel, so you keep the floor area a swing door would need to stay clear.
