The one place it does not work is a timber door. The stainless finish and the wood do not match, and the handle ends up looking applied rather than designed in.

## How to choose an adjustable-arm glass door handle

The adjustable-arm handle is widely used now because of one smart function: the length adjusts freely to suit the need, which also saves space. On an opening where a fixed pull bar would be either too short to grip properly or too long for the leaf, this is the answer.

How do I choose an adjustable-arm glass door handle?

Choose it when the length needs to change. The adjustable arm lets you set the length freely to suit the door and the opening, which also saves space. That flexibility is why it has become widely used.

Why stainless steel?

Two properties matter on a door handle: it has to be hard enough to hold the door firmly when locked, and it has to resist rust. Stainless steel does both, which is why almost every glass door handle is made from it.

Will these handles fit a door that is not glass?

Yes. The range fits securely on almost all doors, glass included. The constraint is the hole centres, not the door material.

Can the handle be changed on an existing glass door?
